Jeannie and her secret weapon, Little Sis, will be doing a joint critique of your first chapter up to 25 pages, so you’ll be receiving two critiques for the price of one. P.S. Jeannie is the nice one.

First chapter, up to 25 pages, any genre or heat level. My critiques focus on structural issues: character, tension, pacing, etc. My approach is to gauge what the writer is trying to accomplish and give feedback on how to strengthen what is already there or fill in the gaps if something is missing. I don’t tend to line edit or correct grammar and spelling.  

Jeannie Lin writes historical romantic adventures set in Tang Dynasty China.
